This publication is going to press in mid-July. The absolute final date to turn information in is July 11.

Drobnick, Solem named top coaches for 2008

Minnesota's Phill Drobnick and Mike Solem have been named USA Curling Coach of the Year and Developmental Coach of the Year respectively.

Officiating clinic planned this fall in Boston area

The Broomstones Curling Club in Wayland, Mass., will offer a Level I and Level II officiating clinic on Oct. 19. You can take both classes or just one (for Level II, you must first complete the Level I session). The USCA registration fee is $15 per level. United Airlines Sponsorship of USOC Offers Travel Benefits to USCA Members

USCA members can now book personal travel through the U.S. Olympic Committee’s United Airlines Travel Desk, and receive the same discounts that the USCA gets when we fly United. The discount is 7 percent for travel arranged more than 30 days in advance and 2 percent for reservations made 30 days or fewer before take-off.
