Town Hall meetings regarding HP plan set; Madison date added

Town Hall meetings scheduled for all USCA members interested in the High Performance Plan


As was outlined in a recent Open Letter to Members, the U.S. Curling Association (USCA) is committed to fulfilling its partnership with the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) to provide the best possible resources to all members interested in pursuing competitive excellence. As part of this commitment, the USCA and USOC have begun the process of regenerating the USCA's High Performance Program and integrating proven principles of high performance sport into our existing competitive programs for teams and individual training, coaching and instruction. To broaden the understanding of this process, and to continue to gain input into the program development, the USCA will be hosting a number of educational "Town Hall" meetings across the country. These meetings are open to ALL USCA members.

Apply today for a Simon Olympic Endowment Grant
USA Curling athletes are encouraged to submit an application for funding from The William E. Simon Olympic Endowment for the Support of Athletes.  The Endowment was established in 1998 by Mr. William E. Simon, Sr., former U.S. Olympic Committee President and U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Grants for training and competition are awarded to athletes showing financial need. By creating this fund, Mr. Simon recognized the importance and many personal benefits of participating in sports.
