Thanks for tuning in!

As the 2004 USA Curling Junior National Championships come to a close, we want to thank all of you who have visited our site, sent support to the teams, and attended the championships when possible. This event could not have happened without the outstanding efforts of the Centerville Curling Club and support from the sponsors, local community, and other curlers from around the country who volunteered to help. Speaking of volunteers, the daily web site coverage would not have been nearly as smooth without the tireless efforts of several new "webmasters," such as 66-year-old Doug Winters (shown here). Doug, by the way, was Centerville's first junior curler, back in 1949. Like some of the others who have helped this week-- including a new 82-year-old webmaster--Doug was initially not to keen about being plopped in front of a strange looking computer with a 10-minute introduction on updating web pages. He is now officially a "veteran," thought, and we look forward to working with him and others like him in the years ahead. Send your thanks to Doug and other webmasters here.
