Editor’s note: “Sweeping Palaces” is a new U.S. Curling News feature profiling member clubs across the country. We hope that these profiles will help readers learn more about their fellow curlers and curling clubs in the United States, and that they may also further the sharing of ideas between clubs.

We try to promote the club by participating in the Marshfield Dairyfest parade.” In addition, the club is used by other organizations such as the Optimist Club and Trappers Association.
Types of programs: The club offers men’s, mixed and junior leagues.
An informal instructional program is offered, as well as a junior program.
What is unique about your club? “We have always received compliments on how wonderful our ice is,” Besler said. “Our ice guys are fantastic at what they do creating the best curling experience for our members and visitors.”
The club recently formed a Membership Committee to try to bring in new members. The clubs recently held two open houses and a night dedicated for parents of hockey players.
