Curling start: "My first experience with curling was at Bemidji High School in a curling class with Mr. V in about 1996. I loved the class, but I didn't have time for another activity in the winter. I guess you could say meeting my girlfriend (now fiance) Jamie Johnson, was what got me interested in the sport."
Other sports/hobbies: "I played hockey through two years of college but now just for fun occasionally. I also enjoy softball, golf, fishing, hunting, canoeing and anything outdoors."
Curling goals: "To be on a men's team that can compete with the top-level curlers."
Curling strengths: "I am very competitive, and I love improving on my shots."
