Curling start: Curling start: I first had a glance of
curling from the Winter Olympics in 1998 (Nagano), but our first encounter with
the sport starts with a video tape called “Curling ABC” that is mail-ordered
from the U.S. Curling Association. The sport looked very strange but fascinating
to us at the time. “Us” means a bunch of Taiwanese students and fellows who
were studying or working at the University of Wisconsin at the time (2005). We
all joined the Madison Curling Club together and had a wonderful adventure in
the world of curling ever since. If you like to know more about the crazy
Taiwanese curlers, please visit us on line at

What she
enjoys most about curling: The game is about
focus and concentration. It is all in your mind
and there is always something new to learn from
a game. Besides, it is a truly gentlemen and
gentlewomen’s game. And don’t forget: the joy
of having a wonderful team work!
Curling goals: I like to see curling
take roots in Taiwan one day. No one ever saw curling in Taiwan until we played
in the 2005 PCC in Taipei, Taiwan. Lots of people in Taiwan showed their
interest in this mesmerizing sport while we were there. Hopefully we will have
a really curling club in Taiwan in the near future.
Curling strengths: "Never despair."
