Curling start: "I started curling mid-life. A fellow senior colleague piqued my interest with his descriptions of the many aspects of the game. I was hooked by its uniqueness."
What she enjoys most about curling: "I have played a variety of positions and most enjoy second. Our Broomstones Club is friendly and encouraging and I have been encouraged to work more on my delivery and release (do not push)."
Hobbies: "Off the ice I am an avid thrift store shopper. Bargains and recycling are a powerful duo. Having an affinity for fixing things, I am always finding and filling spare time with projects; being idle drives me crazy. I love to play Scrabble and am the family champion." |
