What he enjoys most about curling: "What I like best is the teamwork -- and the fact that you don't have to be throwing your best to contribute to the team."

Curling strengths: "I'm not afraid to try a risky shot. Draws to the four-foot late in games."

Hobbies: "My wife, Christina, and I have two dogs, an Alaskan Malamute named Denali, and a Siberian Husky named Kodiak. Hanging out with the dogs provides us both with hours of entertainment."
