| Curls out of: Anchorage Curling Club and Duluth Curling Club
Curling start: "I began curling when I was in the sixth grade. My
neighbor, Deb, introduced me to the sport. The first year I hated it, but my
father encouraged me to give curling a second chance, and I fell in love with
it."
What she enjoys most about curling: "I most enjoy the teamwork
involved with the sport. Everyone has a job to do, and not one person can win
the game. You are only as good as your weakest player."
Curling family: "My brother and father also curl. My father is
the president of the Anchorage Curling Club. He has taught me to keep my head up
and to never give up. My brother went to Nationals in 2003 and to the Arctic
Winter Games in 2000, 2002 and 2004. Both are exceptional curlers as well as
people."
