About Jacqueline Walisser:

Curls out of: Madison Curling Club

Curling start: "You would think that being Canadian and all, that I would have started curling as soon as I could walk. However, it was only once I moved to Wisconsin that I began to curl. I was always encouraged to start curling by my brother, an avid curler in Canada. Then I met a member of the Madison Curling Club who took me to an open house and I signed up immediately. I wish now that I had started years earlier."

What she enjoys most about curling: "I enjoy the team work and the camaraderie of the curling community. I also like that this is a finesse sport, where technique and strategy are important."

Hobbies: Cycling, knitting, gardening
