About Greg Romaniuk:

Curling start: "As the fourth son in a curling family, I didn't have much choice in becoming the sixth Romaniuk curler. After a couple of years I finally got interested in playing after I realized I could make the occasional shot."

What he enjoys most about curling: "The great friends you make, camaraderie, beverage consumption, and competitiveness that is associated with curling."

Other sports: Baseball, golf, hiking

Curling goals: "Top 3 finish in either the World Curling Championships or Olympics."

Training regimen: "Curl as often as possible. Throw 150 plus rocks per week."

Curling strengths: "I manage to convince excellent curlers to play on my team and make me look good."

Travel: Greg has traveled to 20 countries. "All a guy needs is his backpack and a bit of money, and I'm good to go."
