About Gregory Jorgenson:

Curls out of: Detroit Curling Club

Curling start: "I learned to curl as part of a 'University Night' while I was attending graduate school at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. It only took one time and I was hooked. After moving to Detroit, Mich., for work, I joined the Detroit Curling Club when they opened in their present location in January of 2002 and have curled there ever since."

What he enjoys most about curling: "Traveling to bonspiels in different cities and meeting all the different people we have along the way."

Other sports: Golf, sailing, softball (I have coached a high school girls varsity softball team for the past five years)

Curling goals: "Continued participation on a national level and to help the Detroit Curling Club continue to grow."
