About George Austin:

Curls out of: New York Caledonian Curling Club

George Austin is a retired investment management executive. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of five charitable organizations in the New York City area. He is president of the N.Y. Caledonian CC and a director of the Grand National Curling Club. He was a member of the 2001 USCA Scots Tour team. George skipped the winning rink in the GNCC Senior Men's Championship in 1999, 2001, 2003 and 2004. He first became aware of curling while living in London in the late 1970s and watching the sport on the BBC.
