How he got started in curling: Geoff is a member of the Eau Claire (Wis.) Curling Club. His dad, Rudge Goodland, and his brother, Kip, gave him his first slider, and his start in curling.
Most memorable curling event: Bismarck Worlds in 2002.
Favorite things to do: Geoff enjoys family time at their lake property, listening to loons from their deck.
Hobbies: Fishing and coaching soccer.
Other sports: Golf
Something unique: Geoff's father, Rudge Goodland, organized the first U.S. Junior National Curling Championships, in Arden Hills, Minn., in 1974 (boys only at that time).
