Curls out of: Grand Forks Curling Club
Curling start: "Having moved from the South, one of my
colleagues from the University asked if I was interested in curling (like I knew
what that was all about) and would I come down to the curling club and try out a
new winter sport. Intrigued as to why someone would slide a 42-pound rock down a
sheet of ice onto a bulls-eye in a deliberately cold room... I agreed. Needless
to say, I was captivated by the grace, skill, and finesse that this new sport
required."
