Curling start: "A grant issued from the Department of Education to Alpha One in Maine and used by Wes Smith who approached the Belfast Curling Club to see if they would be interested in housing wheelchair athletes. They accepted with open arms and so we started."

Favorite part of curling: "The whole package. The competition, the strategy, the people, the sport!"

Curling goals: "To compete locally, nationally, in Worlds, and the Paralympics for as long as possible."

Affiliations: New York Advocacy Network committees and sub-committees as related to independent living.

Major achievements not related to curling: National competitions in wheelchair basketball, Top 10 employee for the Department of Logistics Agency, Ms. Wheelchair Maine 2004

Hobbies: Wheelchair basketball, tennis, four-wheeling, traveling and spending quality time with my son."

If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it: "I'd use it to travel, have fun, and give it to others in need."
