About Cody Stevens:

Curls out of: Bemidji Curling Club

Curling start: "I started curling when I was about 8 years old. My parents brought me to the club and I took one look at the ice and I thought 'what kind of game is this, how boring.' Well I tried it and 14 years later I can't get enough of it."

What he enjoys most about curling: "You get to meet all kinds of people and get to know them after the game, but I would be lying if I did not say that I like the competition, trying to outplay and out-strategize the other team."

Curling family: "My family has been been in this sport for a very long time. First my great-grandpa then my grandpa, father and brother are all curlers. Since me and my brother have started playing together three years ago I find myself even more into this game then before."

Other sports: "I like to play all kinds of sports; my favorite is golfing but I like any kind of water sports, knee boarding, wake boarding, etc."

Curling goals: "My goals in curling are to make it to the Olympics and win -- that is the ultimate goal."

Training regimen: "I lift weights two times a week and play racquetball once a week. Then I practice at least three times a week not including the three league games I play a week and then on the weekends I'm usually at a bonspiel curling with my team."

Curling strengths: "I don't know I guess you will have to watch and decide for me."

Hobbies: Hunting, fishing, shooting trap and skeet, Rollerblade. "I pretty much like to do anything that keeps me busy."

Career goals: "To run a successful business."
