About Casey Kremer:

Curls out of: Chicago Curling Club

Favorite aspect of curling: "When I met Kara Ward four years ago during the Olympics, I said that you can compete on a national level in this sport if you are willing to put in the time to practice ... and here we are."

Major achievements not related to curling: "I have competed at Nationals in four different sports: Junior National Regatta (Sailing 420s), Manhasset 1968; Racquetball, Houston, 1985 & 1986; Women's Western Golf Association Senior Nationals, Atlanta, 2005; USWCA National Bonspiel, Exmoor 1999 & Madison 2001."

Hobbies: "Golf and bicycling. I have biked across Iowa, Wisconsin, Virginia & North Carolina. Always across the widest part. I have said many times that North Carolina is a big state when seen from a seat of a bicycle."

If she won a million dollars, she would: "Renovate buildings in Chicago."

Favorite place to travel: "To the golf course."

Something unique: "I am a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants. It is great for invitations to Thanksgiving dinner."
