CURLING HIGHLIGHTS
PERSONAL FILE
Nickname: Wighty
Curling start: "I started curling after watching the 1980 Silver Broom (World Championship) Kamp vs. Folk Thursday night game in round robin. Five years later I went to the Brier representing New Brunswick. I curled in Canada for 16 years participating in the World Tour and Brier playdowns. I moved to the USA in 1996 and became eligible to curl in the USA national playdowns in 1998 and have been fortunate to qualify for nations each year since."
In his own words: "I make a considerable amount of money off of teammates on golf bets. My major advantage over them is that they hit the ball like little old ladies and can't drop a putt unless I hold a putter for line."
Something unique: "I live in the second largest wine producing area in North America and love visiting wineries around the world."
Travel: Bryan lived in Europe for five years and has traveled to 40 of 50 U.S. states since moving to the U.S. in 1996.
