Curling start: "Bill Rotten contacted Marc DePerno at Sitrin, a rehab center I had been involved with at the time to find people interested."

Favorite part of curling: "My favorite aspect is the strategy and also the social aspect. It is the most polite sport I have been involved in."

Curling goals: "To someday win a gold medal for my country and myself."

Affiliations: "I have been with the Syracuse Flyers (wheelchair basketball team) for 26 years and serve as president of the board and team captain. I am also on the board of a summer camp for disabled kids."

If you won a million dollars, what would you do with it: "My first thing would be to help my family. Then I would like to start a health club for people with disabilities."

Favorite place to travel: "I really enjoy the Adirondacks. I would also like to visit Ireland some day."
