Curling start: "My parents started curling in 1985 so curling has always been a part of my life. I began gymnastics at age 3 and competed through the seventh grade but at the same time I practiced with Little Rockers on Saturday mornings. At that time my interests switched and I became more serious about curling."
Curling goals: "My goal is to go as far as I can with my team and someday be a national champion."
Other sports: Snowboarding, tennis, waterskiing
What she enjoys most about curling: "I really enjoy traveling and making new friends along the way. I also have a very competitive spirit."
Travel: Andrea has traveled to Colorado, Washington, D.C., Grand Cayman Island, Cozumel, the Bahamas, Puerto Vallerata, Yucatan Peninsula, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Something unique: "I have home videos filmed by my grandparents of me throwing my first stone at age 3."
