Canadian national champion to instruct at camp in Bismarck
Connie
Laliberte, three-time winner of the Scott Tournament of
Hearts (the Canadian women's national championship) has
joined the list of instructors at the No Boundaries
junior camp
to be held Oct. 22-24 at the
Capital Curling Club in
Bismarck, N.D. Bill Biehl, Manitoba provincial technical
director, and long-time U.S. coach Lynita Delaney also

Curling

Labatt Women's
Duluth Cashspiel has been approved as an event on the
M
& M Meat Shops Women's Tour of Curling. The event
will take place Dec. 10-12 at the Duluth Curling Club and

Love New York" cashspiel added to World Curling Tour
The
I
Love New York Open cashspiel has been added to the
World Curling Tour. The event will take place Oct. 28-31
at the Utica Curling Club in Utica, N.Y. The cashspiel
features a $43,000 purse. The 24-team event includes a
$13,000 payout to the winner. The entry fee is $1,000.

named captain for Team North America at Continental Cup

Lukowich, athlete development director for the United
States Curling Association, has been named captain of Team
North America for the
2004
Continental Cup to be held Nov. 25-28 in Medicine Hat,
Alberta, Canada. Lukowich won the world men's championship
in 1986 and joined the USCA staff in 2000.

2006 Olympic Team Trials -- Curling will be held Feb.
19-26, 2005, at the Madison Curling Club.
