Benefits. There are many benefits
to becoming a member of the USCA including club liability insurance,
championships events and curling merchandise, just to name a few. To find out
more about USCA membership benefits, download an informational PDF
here.
-
Marketing seminars. In keeping with the USCAs commitment to "Grow the
Sport," Member Services is again offering membership marketing seminars to clubs
across the country. Early results from last years initial seminars are encouraging.
There was a significant increase in membership for clubs fully participating in the
program. The goal of the program is help clubs determine what attracts people to curling
and what keeps them involved. The seminars are a continuation of the work of three sports
marketing professors, who began their association with the USCA four years ago by
conducting a comprehensive market study, which gives member clubs a better idea of who to
target and why.
