Championships Position Statement

Per the USCA Strategic Plan, the Championships area will develop and continuously improve championship events at the national level to allow America's best teams to rise to the top in any given category. The events will be developed to determine champions based on the relative skills of the teams and to reduce the existence of "external determinant factors." In partnership with member regions and clubs, the USCA will assist in conducting each championship.

External determinant factor examples:

• inconsistent rocks

• inconsistent ice

• unfair play

• rules violations

• intimidation

• any other factor that creates inequity
