CERTIFICATIONS STANDARDS
1. Attend the USCA Level I officiating course.
2. Take the written Level I exam on rules and procedures (passing grade 70%).
Work as a timer at least three (3) draw at a district, state, regional or national level under the supervision of certified Level II, III or IV officials.
Supervisors will evaluate candidate and indicate on the experience record the candidates proficiency.
Submit practical experience records, signed by head umpires or Bonspiel chairmen for credit towards certification. Credit will be given for observing and timing at local bonspiels if permission of the local bonspiel chairman is received in advance and supervision is under certified Level II official.
