USCA Championships

CERTIFICATIONS STANDARDS

LEVEL IV: INTERNATIONAL OFFICIALS

 

Technical:

            1.                  Be certified as a Level III official.

2.         Be invited to apply for Level IV status.

3.           Have comprehensive and current knowledge of all WCF and USCA rules,

     policies and procedures.

  Practical:

 

1.                  A candidate must serve at least three years as a Level III official at national championships.

2.                  A candidate must serve at a World Championship as assistant chief umpire, hog-line supervisor, on-ice supervisor or timing supervisor.

3.                  The supervising head officials or deputy chief umpires must submit written evaluations of the applicant to the Chair of the USCA Rules & Officiating Committee.

Certification: A Level IV certificate and Certified Level IV Official bar will be issued to the successful applicant upon the approval of the USCA Rules & Officiating Committee. Level IV officials may be asked to serve as Level I and Level II course conductors and to supervise Level II & III officials.
