USCA Championships

CERTIFICATIONS STANDARDS

  LEVEL III: NATIONAL OFFICIALS

 

Technical:

 

1.                  Be certified as a Level II official.

2.        Ask to apprentice as a head official.

3.           Have comprehensive and current knowledge of all WCF and USCA rules, 

     policies and procedures of officiating.

Practical:

 

1.                  A candidate for Level III Certification must serve, under supervision, as the head official or apprentice at three (3) district, state, regional or national championships of which one must be at a national championship.

2.                  The supervising head officials must submit written evaluations of the applicant to the Chair of the USCA Rules & Officiating Committee.

3.                  The candidate will submit all experience records to the Chair of the USCA Rules & Officiating Committee upon completion of practical requirements

Certification: A Level III certificate and Certified Level III Official bar will be issued to a successful candidate upon the approval of the USCA Rules & Officiating Committee. Level III officials may be asked to serve as Level I and Level II course conductors and supervise Level II officials. Not all certified Level III officials will be appointed as head umpires. 

The Rules & Officiating Committee bases further advancement to Level IV on continued experience and evaluation.
